Neville Meijers is a senior vice president and general manager at Qualcomm FLO Technologies. In this role, Meijers leads the international business development, product management, program management and strategy teams for Qualcomm’s mobile broadcast business unit.

Meijers joined Qualcomm in 2008 from Discovery Communications where he served as executive vice president of Discovery Communications’ Antenna Audio, a world leader in audio and multimedia. Between 2001 and 2008, he held senior executive positions in the areas of corporate strategy and business development for Discovery Communications worldwide and was managing director for Discovery Networks Asia based out of Singapore. Previously he held C-level executive positions for Naspers and MIH – two of the world’s leading international media companies and was chief operations officer for UBC, Thailand’s largest television operator. In addition, Meijers was chief executive officer at International Broadcasting Corp. and for Thailand’s Multichoice Group. He began his career in 1991 at M-Net in South Africa and has held senior management positions in China, the Netherlands, South Africa and Turkey.

Meijers is a native of South Africa and earned both a master of business administration degree and a bachelor of science degree in engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.
